The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organization of the India Government and the NCERT was established on 1st September, 1961 as a literary, scientific and charitable Society under the Societies’ Registration Act (Act XXI of 1860). The NCERT assists and advises the central and state governments on academic matters related to school education and the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent. The NTSE is one of the most prestigious exams in India and approx 5,000000 students appear in this scholarship exam every year and approx 1000 scholarships are awarded, out of which 775 are not reserved.
